TEENAGE TWINS (1976)

 So this one is an early porno directed by Carter Stevens. The hook here is that it features a couple of actual twins in the lead roles so if you're into incest this may be of special interest to you. It does feature some lesbian antics between sisters Brooke and Taylor Young who would go on to be in 2 more adult features before disappearing back into polite civilization. This one is super dull for the most part. They do throw the Necronomicon in and give the twins some super power where they can feel when the other one is having sex but it all is just an excuse to end in a big orgy scene on top of a pentagram.

SATANIC SISTERS (1977)

 The DVD I have of this says its title is SEXY SISTERS but the movie itself says they are SATANIC. Either way this is one of those softcore(but bordering on hardcore) Jess Franco Eurotrash spectacles that shows how much better porn was back when they put at least 2 seconds into thinking up some kind of a storyline. The story here deals with a blonde lady(Karine Gambier) who is a nymphomaniac and her manipulative sister(Pamela Stanford) who, along with an evil doctor(Jack Taylor) is trying to get her committed to an insane asylum so she can be the sole heir to a bunch of money. I was expecting things to get a bit more nihilistic towards the ending but Franco keeps things fairly predictable which is a little unfortunate. Still an ok watch if you need tons of Eurobush, frolicking lesbian incest, naked boobs, ass and floppy penises on display. I made the mistake of watching this back-to-back with Franco's MARQUISE DE SADE movie with Lina Romay and while separately they're both entertaining enough they're also far too similar to make a very good double feature so watch this with something like EUGENIE instead. COMMON LAW WIFE (1963)

 For what's mostly a silly sexploitation flick this one has a pretty bleak ending. Without giving too much of anything away I'll just say ii involves a couple of murders and a suicide. Not exactly the way you would think a film of this type would end up but that's cool. The plot concerns an older gentleman named Shug (whose name reminds of that rap guy Suge Knight) who wants to trade in his lady friend for his young niece, named "Baby Doll", because according to Shug(short for Shugfoot) incest is just a word. But surprisingly to the old fella, she's legally his, you guessed it, common law wife. There's lots of drama and love-triangles(rectangles?) to wade through but it does have a sweet climax. I'd give it a 6.5 out of 10 if I rated things like that.
 This was directed by cult fav Larry Buchanan who would go on to make a bunch of clunky sci-fi flicks throughout the 60s.
