THE WASHING MACHINE (1993)

  I assumed this was gonna be one of those killer appliance films, something along the lines of DEATH BED except with a naughty washer. Unfortunately that's not how things go down. Director Ruggero Deodato, best know for the epic CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST, instead delivers what's more of a sexy thriller than anything particularly horror-based. There are a couple of fantasy sequences where some gruesomeness occurs, mostly involving chopping up people and a guy in a washing machine, but for the most part the plot deals with 3 wack-job(and very horny) sisters. There is lots of attractive bare ass and boobs on display and sex scenes that all involve sex while standing up(one time even in front of a refrigerator which seems like not the most optimal spot to consecrate your horniness).
 I was pretty disappointed in this one for the most part but hey it's the 90's so I guess I shouldn't have expected much better. A more fitting title might have been 3 NUTTY BROADS but I guess that wouldn't fool very many horror hounds into watching this.
 I see this one labeled as a giallo but since the body count is 1 I'm not sure that anything besides the SUSPIRIA-esque music qualifies it for that classification.

PETS (1973)

 Sexy Candice Rialson(from sexy 70s flicks like CANDY STRIPE NURSES) is the main attraction here in what is a pretty bizarre twisty-turny story of a young gal who ends up in various situations that range from criminal to hot and sexy to horrific when she ends up being kept in a cage by some nutso art-collector fellow giving the title some meaning. It takes a while for things to actually come together in this one and along the way you get a little dog tossed off a cliff and some female-on-male rape to keep you interested. I think I might have to give this one another watch one day to decipher some of the deeper messages about submission(alternate title SUBMISSION) and whatnot contained in it. Coulda used a better soundtrack though as this is filled with some pretty sub-par folksy ballads.

WICKED SINS (2002)

 One of the most boring, badly-made things I've seen in awhile.  I mean sure it's an "erotic thriller" so you get some very attractive nekkid folks humping away in softcore porn fashion but everything else just seems like some terrible TV-movie of the week with a heaping helping of the worst acting you'll ever see. The fact that this was made in 2002 seems mind-boggling to me also. Wasn't hardcore porn pretty easily accessible by everyone at that point? I'm sure if I was 12 years old and it was still 1983 this would be wonderful but watching it in 2017 it's quite a sleep-inducing drag! You get straight and lesbo sex antics, a murder scene and a mystery that you couldn't care less about. Go watch some crappy porn instead.
