RESIDENCE FOR SPIES (1968)
Jess Franco gives us a comedic spy movie here starring Eddie Constantine who was famous for starring in Jean-Luc Godard's ALPHAVILLE a few years earlier. This was before Franco delved into the more sleazy/exploitation portion of his career which is really the stuff I love best so this one is not anywhere near the top of my personal favs. Might be of interest to fans of 60s James Bond and spoofs of that sort of stuff but I don't think the action is anything near what you would want from your standard spy flick of the era.

BLOOD ON MY SHOES (1983)
Spoiler-alert!: The shocking plot-twist here is that star Lina Romay doesn't actually get naked and screw everyone unlike most other Jess Franco-directed epics featuring her. This one deals more with Romay's comedic hijinks and a group of spies doing spy stuff. Howard Vernon plays a crazy old man and Franco himself pops up briefly. Miss Lina does wear some revealing and see-through outfits numerous times throughout so if the tease is more of a turn-onto you than the reveal give it a pervy look.
The movie poster up there is a take-off of the one used for GATOR which is weird since that came out 7 years earlier and is a very different typ of movie.
Lina being silly in a too-small top!:

ISLAND OF THE LOST GIRLS (1969)
By looking at the poster for this Italian/German exploitation flick you might think it's a sexploitation or women-in-prison sort of a deal but this is actually part of the Kommissar X series which were these James Bond-ish pulpy crime dramas that were popular in Europe in the 60's. This is the 5th in the series and is about women being drugged and turned into prostitutes on a secret island in Asia. You would think with this sleazy premise we'd get a lot of nudity and sex and you do a few peaks at some boobs but not a whole lot. It's basically filled with the heroics of Kommissar X played by Tony Kendall and his sidekick played by a musclebound Brad Harris who had earlier in his career been in a few Italian Hercules films. One of the bad guys is portrayed by one of my favorite character actors Herbert Fux from MARK OF THE DEVIL and an angry midget also threatens our heroes. Basically it's a pretty silly secret agent/spy film which might be of interest to 007 fans. AKA THREE GOLDEN SERPENTS
